Skiing

As hot and sunny as Camposol usually is - you are in fact only a couple of hours away from great skiing on the Sierra Nevada ski slopes!

Generally quiet and inexpensive its a great place for families and beginners. You can be skiing in the morning and sunbathing in the afternoon on the beach.

The Sierra Nevada ski resort has many runs of varying degrees of difficulty to suit all skiing levels.

Being so far south skiers are usually pleasantly surprised to find how temperate the air temperature is compared to other ski locations.

The resort includes over 40 miles of runs, two cross country skiing circuits, two cabin lifts, 12 chair lifts and 5 T-bar lifts which have the combined capacity of moving in excess of 30,000 skiers per hour up the slopes.

250 snow canons ensure consistently good skiing and supplement the good natural snow cover. There are marked runs for cross country together with two runs for nightime skiing.

With a surprisingly active nightlife - Sierra Nevada is a great winter sports location only 2 hours drive from the villa.
